Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency to find highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineers to join their growing cloud engineering team.
Our client plays a pivotal role in protecting consumers and promoting competition across Australia's economy. Their Information Management and Technology Service Branch delivers easy-to-use and reliable technology solutions that support critical regulatory capabilities. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact systems and contribute to the agency's transition to infrastructure-as-code deployment.
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for building, deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure whilst driving automation initiatives. You'll provide production support for Microsoft cloud-based systems, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and contribute to infrastructure improvements. Working within an Agile environment, you'll collaborate with software development teams and stakeholders to deliver new solutions whilst maintaining existing systems to the highest standards of security, uptime and cost optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for Microsoft cloud-based systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues as required
- Build, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure in Azure following best practice standards
- Implement automation for solution deployments using infrastructure-as-code practices
- Drive and contribute to infrastructure improvements and automation initiatives across the environment
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions and production systems
- Provide design input for new solutions and collaborate with development teams in an Agile project environment
Key Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years' demonstrated experience with Azure, including building new solutions and supporting existing environments
- Proven ability implementing automation for solution deployments, preferably using Bicep or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise and keep stakeholders informed and engaged, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within an Agile project environment
- Current NV1 Australian Federal Government security clearance required
