Resolve Recruit is partnering with a prominent Commonwealth Government department to find a Senior SharePoint Specialist to support a large-scale, multi-year program. This is a hands-on role that blends platform and solution design, administration and custom development, giving you the opportunity to shape how a complex government department collaborates across its digital services.
As a Senior SharePoint Specialist, you will administer and develop across both SharePoint Online and on-premises environments, building custom SPFx components, driving Power Platform automation and maintaining the governance frameworks that keep the platform secure, organised and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure and maintain SharePoint Online and on-premises environments.
- Design and develop custom SharePoint solutions using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Build and maintain workflow and automation solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline business processes.
- Provide proactive SharePoint governance, including clear definition of roles, policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain technical and non-technical artefacts, including solution designs, configuration documentation, governance frameworks and end-user guides.
- Provide technical support, training and guidance to end users, site owners and ICT colleagues.
Key Experience and Skills:
- Experience administering and supporting SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint on-premises environments.
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Understanding of SharePoint governance, information architecture, lifecycle management and security practices.
- Experience producing technical artefacts such as solution designs, configuration documentation and support procedures.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
